Repairing What Conflict Breaks

Reconciliation grows through truth, humility, patience, and practiced forgiveness.

Read · Colossians 3:12–14

Conflict does not automatically destroy a relationship. More often, damage deepens when defensiveness, contempt, avoidance, or repeated dishonesty prevent repair.

Paul calls God’s people to compassion, humility, patience, forgiveness, and love. These virtues do not minimize harm or remove healthy boundaries. They shape the spirit in which truth and responsibility are pursued.

Because Christ has moved toward us in grace, we can take the first honest step: owning our part, listening to the impact, asking forgiveness, or setting a boundary without hatred.

What is the next honest and loving step toward repair that belongs to you?

PrayerGod of reconciliation, soften what has become defensive in me. Give me courage to own my part, wisdom about boundaries, and grace to pursue peace in Christ. Amen.
