We often imagine peace will arrive after the problem is solved. Until then, anxiety rehearses every possible danger as though worry could guarantee a better result.
Paul points us toward prayer marked by thanksgiving. We name the need honestly while remembering the faithfulness of the God to whom we bring it.
God’s peace is not a promise that every outcome will match our preference. It is protection for the heart and mind as we remain rooted in Christ while the answer is still forming.
What concern needs to move from repeated worry into specific prayer today?
PrayerFather, I place this concern before You. Guard my heart and mind in Christ, and give me peace to do today’s work without trying to control tomorrow. Amen.
