Regret has a way of carrying yesterday into every new morning. We remember what we said, what we failed to do, or how far we still have to go.
Lamentations speaks of renewed mercy from inside profound grief. Hope is not denial; it is the decision to remember God’s character while pain remains real.
Because of Christ, repentance does not end in self-condemnation. We can confess honestly, receive mercy, make amends where possible, and begin again as people held by grace.
What failure do you need to bring into the mercy of Christ rather than carrying as your identity?
PrayerMerciful Father, thank You that Your compassion is new today. Lead me in honest repentance and help me walk forward in the freedom Christ provides. Amen.
