Read · Proverbs 3:5–6
We often want God to reveal the entire road before we agree to move. Certainty feels safer than trust, especially when the decision in front of us carries real consequences.
Proverbs calls us to trust the Lord rather than lean entirely on our own understanding. This is not an invitation to abandon wisdom. It is a reminder that wisdom begins by acknowledging the One who sees what we cannot.
In Christ, we can move without pretending to control the outcome. We pray, seek counsel, tell the truth about our motives, and take the clearest faithful step available. God’s grace will meet us there.
What faithful next step has become delayed because you are waiting for complete certainty?
PrayerFather, direct my path. Give me wisdom for what is mine to do, humility about what I cannot see, and courage to take the next faithful step with Christ. Amen.
