Read · Zechariah 4:10
Beginnings can feel unimpressive. The vision may be clear while the resources, reach, skill, or progress still seem painfully limited.
Zechariah warns against despising the day of small things. God’s work is not validated only when it becomes visible, large, or widely recognized.
Faithfulness begins with what is already in our hands. We learn, refine, serve the person in front of us, and trust God with the scale and timing of the result.
What small beginning needs your faithful attention instead of your embarrassment?
PrayerFather, keep me faithful in beginnings. Free me from comparison and help me steward what You have placed in my hands today. Amen.
