Many voices compete to define us: past failure, present performance, other people’s expectations, and the fear that we are never enough.
Jesus describes the Good Shepherd as One who knows His sheep by name and leads them. His guidance begins with relationship, not intimidation.
Learning His voice takes time in Scripture, prayer, wise community, and obedience. The Shepherd’s voice will never contradict His character, and it leads us toward truth, love, holiness, and life.
Which competing voice has become louder than the truth Christ speaks over you?
PrayerGood Shepherd, help me recognize Your voice. Quiet the accusations and expectations that pull me away, and lead me in Your truth and love. Amen.
